The stories collected in this edition have been reset in a modern typeface, but retain every detail - content, spelling and orthography - of the originals in order to preserve the flavour of the time and the nature of Ebbutt's writing. The jacket remains unclipped, displaying the original 3/6d net price on the inside flap.
