In very good condition. Several pencil markings on the title page in the upper right hand corner--rubber stamped "Reference Catalogue Library Reference Nov 11 1935" in same area. Front cover is cut away at the top right hand corner. A couple pencil marks elsewhere in the catalogue, but otherwise pages are clean and clearly legible. Secure binding. Pages 2 and 3 display a color illustration of the Kewanee Boiler Corporation main office and factory in Kewanee, Illinois-- a black and white photograph of the inside of the factory and one trainload of forty firebox boilers is also included. Color illustrations of the boilers can be found throughout. Covers positive attributes of the boilers, such as ample heating surface, spaciousness of the fire boxes, and low-temperature chimney gas. Blueprints and specification tables are included-- providing capacity of steam and water per square foot, measurements and diameters, and weight for each type of boiler (for example: Brick-set up-draft type, smokeless type, steel riveted type, and portable up-draft). Index located at the back that allows one to find what they are looking for via type of boiler, series, and/or capacity square foot radiation.
