Softcover. Condición: Like New. Inscribed "For Senator Wendy Davis, my Senator!, with great appreciation Jim Wright". Inspired by his parents? love for the written word, former Speaker of the House Jim Wright developed a passion for books and writing at a young age. During his thirty-four years as a US Congressman and two years as Speaker of the House, written communication continued to play an integral role in Wright?s life as he developed an increased understanding of the power of words. He was a passenger in the second congressman?s car, which was a white Ford Mercury Comet Caliente, provided by a local Dallas dealership. In so doing, he was witness to Kennedy's assassination, and was one of the last surviving members of the Kennedy motorcade. Wendy Davis is an American lawyer and politician from Fort Worth, Texas.
