The laws of nature are made up of principles which are sound, and harmonize in all things. Theology must meet the same criteria. It must meet the standards of God, and apply to all of humanity equally, and must be able to be understood by all, or it is not in harmony with existing knowledge, and can not stand the test of time and harmonize with knowledge yet unknown. Elder Widtsoe demonstrates in this book that the Gospel of Jesus Christ harmonizes with all knowledge, and is easy to be understood and obeyed by those who embrace it.
