Illustrated wraps of elves driving a two horse sleigh, is alone worth the purchase price. Widholm was a Swedish painter , illustrator, graphic artist and well known cartoonist. His work ranged widely from political, to fashion, and this, a Swedish children's Christmas periodical featuring original renditions of trolls and elves. All of these seem to be elements of his Smalanningens Jul. This would be his last issue, as he died in April, 1953.
