Nutting constructed one of the earliest, if not the first, neon sign, which was displayed at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition. He worked for Eastman Kodak Company and Westinghouse Electric Company and the United States Geological Survey. Edgar Theodore Wherry (18851982) was an American mineralogist, soil scientist and botanist. In 1964, he was awarded the Mary Soper Pope Memorial Award in botany. The "Edgar T.
