Edge of papers a nice green colour. A thick, small in height book, that's in really good, clean condition and as its a used book, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Its a fully immersive and informative book, that holds all horse racing reports and results for the 1948 season and the book is section off in four parts, plus additional pages on racing in Ireland and France. Part I: 259 pages Part II: 1379 pages, Part III: 250 pages, Part IV: 236 pages. All pages intact and nice tight binding. There is a staggering amount of information collated and compiled on so many aspects of the racing calendar for the year 1948. Its a gorgeous book that would grace any stylish library but also hold a fascinating amount of historical information on horse racing for that specific year.
