Ex-library book plate on front endpaper with abrasion where someone tried to remove this. There is a newspaper article taped to the first FEP that provides a synopsis of this book. Pages are heavily toned. Some foxing. Book binding is not square such that the front board leans. At the rear board, there is a repair to the binding where it must have split. Corners are swollen and missing cloth. Still a good reading copy.
