Sie singt eigene Kompositionen, aber auch Lieder und Chansons von Thomas Natschinski, Georges Moustaki, Franz Schubert u.a. zu Texten von Konrad Weiß, Fritz-Jochen Kopka (dem langjährigen Lebensgefährten der Sängerin), dem ermordeten Widerstandskämpfer Adam Kuckhoff, Mascha Kaleko etc. Seit 1977 war sie regelmäßig zu Gastspielen in Ost und West unterwegs und stand dabei mit Moustaki, Konstantin Wecker, Hanns Dieter Hüsch, Hanna Hegerova, Georg Danzer u.a. auch gemeinsam auf der Bühne.
