"Congo Crack-Up" is about three men and a woman who are the survivors of a plane crash in the African jungle and must trek overland to reach civilization. The author's works have been the basis for a number of feature films set in Africa and is noted for his antiapartheid stance as a South African movie director most notably in "Jim comes to Jo'burg" (1949) and "Magic Garden" (1961). 187p.
