No inscription. A square and tight copy with sharp corners and spine ends. Minor tanning to the page edges. The front free endpaper shows the outline of a paper clip along the top edge, the ghost of a pencil erasure and a short crease at the fore-edge from handling. The jacket is bright, crisp and not priced, as issued. Tanning to the white flaps. Increase the appeal of your Schaefer painting at auction by adding a signed copy of a study of his life and work. Schaefer's autograph is not commonly found. He was a student of Group of 7 members Arthur Lismer and J.E.H. MacDonald and served as a war artist for the RCAF during WWII.
