Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Good. Ten volume set. Black half-leather, dark green buckram, and gilt spine titles with raised bands and ruling in blind. Rubbing, moderate edgewear including peeling to leather, occasional light staining. All volumes sturdy and strong. Spines square; bindings sound. Marbled page edges and marbled endsheets. Pages toned, with sparse foxing throughout volumes. Individual volumes also have the following additional condition issues. Volume one: pages 447-474 are scraped to top edge, with creasing and edgewear just at the top margin, not affecting text. Volume two: corner crease to bottom fore-edge corner from pages 1439-1546. Volume three: external edgewear is heavier at fore-edge than other volumes, and there are several small scrapes to the leather at spine. Volume five: a previous fold (and present-day crease) at fly leaf had resulted in the bottom margin of the page sitting below the textblock, with expected edgewear just at bottom edge of the page. Volume six: A previous owner pressed flowers at page 4790, with accompanying darker toning to the paper. Volume ten: the Mercator world map has a few plant remnants, as though also once used to press flowers. The interiors are otherwise clean. Sixteen color plates in volume one. This set is exceptionally large and heavy, and may require additional postage to ship.
