This business ledger or time book was kept by Julius Sleder, a Traverse City, Michigan resident who earned his living during this 14 year period primarily as a mason. He kept a detailed account of every job, type of work done, hours worked and hourly pay rate. He worked at a variety of jobs ranging from the Traverse City State Hospital to small jobs such as building a chimney. Provides an interesting perspective on the life of a person in the construction trades both before and during the Great Depression. This has time book has the original brown covers with "Weekly Time Book" printed on the front. Ruled pages with daily and weekly columns for jobs, hours, pay, etc. A printed table of wages by hour in front ranging from 25 cents to $1 per hour for calculating wages.
