Edizione settecentesca di questa relazione edita per la prima volta nel 1685, che tratta, dal punto di vista legale, della legittimita' del matrimonio tra un eunuco e una donna. L'origine di questo lavoro risale al matrimonio che avvenne segretamente fra un celebre eunuco, cantante soprano, Bartolomeo De Sorlisi, e la giovane Dorotea Lichtwer. La scoperta di questa unione attiro' sul cantante scherno e ironie, fatto questo che lo porto' prima alla malattia e poi alla morte. Il caso, originato dall'avversita' a questa unione da parte della famiglia della sposa, ebbe dal punto di vista giuridico e dottrinale alterne vicende, anche se molte di queste furono favorevoli alla coppia (l'elettore di Sassonia firmo' un decreto che annullava il primo parere contrario mentre i teologi di Konigsberg sancirono la legittimita' dell'unione non finalizzata alla procreazione).
