From the Library of Hester Sassoon [née Gatty], bearing her autograph Hester Gatty signature, dated 1925, on a preliminary blank Hester Gatty was born in 1906, the daughter of Sir Stephen and Lady Katherine Gatty. She met and married Siegfried Sassoon in 1933. Although they separated after the birth of their son, George, they never divorced. She died in 1973.
