Folio, 38.5x29cm. First English edition. pp55(1) with monochrome plates and bibliography, followed by titled section of 44 tipped-in colour plates and plate index. Title-page with minor spot-size graze close to fore-edge. Hardback / hard cover: burgundy cloth, backstrip and front cover titled in gilt. Backstrip bumped at head, resulting in lightly creased upper inner corners of contents throughout, though no text or image affected. Covers with a few minor bumps at upper and lower edges. Near VERY GOOD copy in FAIR unclipped dust jacket with neatly-applied translucent paper tape repairs & reinforcements applied on insides to nicked, rubbed and creased upper inner corners of front and rear panels, and to jagged closed tear of length about 4cm from lower edge of front panel.
