Based on Waclaw Gasiorowski's 1933 novel "Pani Walewska," which was in turn based on the true story of Countess Marie Walewska, who began an affair with Napoleon in the hope of gaining influence and power for Poland. Set in France and Poland. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with light creasing to the bottom left corner and brief separation to the bottom right corner.
