Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. illustrated by Anne Green Ilustrador. ## WONDERFUL CLOUDS by Francoise Sagan 1961 First Edition## ## THIS BOOK: This Book is classified as VERY GOOD: This is the 1961 First edition, published by John Murray in 1961. The Book is in very good condition. The endpapers have minor discolouring, and the pages are clean and clear. The binding is maroon with a white tree motif bottom right corner (see images) with the titling along the spine. The Book has a clear plastic cover, post-publication.## ## The possessive jealousy of a rich young American, Alan, for his attractive French wife, Josée, is groundless since their marriage. Still, his obsession with her past engulfs their present, and it drives Josée into a series of romantic adventures which lead to a poignant and unexpected end. The action is in Florida, New York and Paris, and the two principal characters are Josée and Bernard from Those Without Shadows. The novel reflects once again the mood of bittersweet hedonism that Francoise Sagan has made very much her own, and the American scenes are in pointed contrast to the more familiar Paris settings of her other novels. The subtle infiltration of Alan's overwhelming jealousy and this effect on Josée form the Book's theme. ## INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please Note. FREE SHIPPING IS UK ONLY.
