The Institute for National Security Strategy (INSS) is a government-funded public research institute that was newly inaugurated in February 2007, integrating the Institute for National Security Policy and the Institute for Unification Policy. It stems from the Research Institute for International Affairs (RIIA) which was established in September, 1977.
