Thin tan cardboard underneath are clean with only minor soiling to edges. Internal binding is cracked at several sections but pages are still secure. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. No publication date listed (1916) nor is there an author other than the mention of the Royal Flying Corps on the foreword page. Interior pages show minor corner bumps and are toned due to age. There is some light scattered foxing and smudge marks present.

Ink name to flyleaf. Inner front hinge cracked showing cloth 5mm, causing a wobble, binding a bit strained. Page-edges yellowed, obscuring foxing, light yellowing to page-margins. Pages have some blotching and foxing, serviceably clean.
