A scarce 19th Century piece on matters related to the flow of semen. Roberts Bartholow (1831-1904) was an American physician and professor. He was the first to document how electrical stimulation impacted the brain, following his controversial experimentation on Mary Rafferty, a woman with a hole in her skull caused by a cancerous ulcer. Rafferty would ultimately die of a seizure in the days following the experiments.
