Rigmarole of the Hours 5. *Born in Melbourne in 1952, Robert Kenny was associated with the experimental poetry scene based around Carlton's La Mama theatre. In the 1970s he was active in small press publishing, being a co-founder of Contempa Publications, which published collections of poetry and prose as well as the magazineContempa. The small press Rigmarole of the Hours (c. 1974-1986) later became Rigmarole Books , and publi shed poetry by Kenny, Jennifer Maiden, Laurie Duggan, Kris Hemensley, Katherine Gallagher and Anna Couani, among others.
