Quatre Chemins-Editart, 1951; boxed two-volume edition, #549 of a limited edition of 1000 numbered copies; set consists of a Preface and Catalogue Raisonné volume by John Rewald (64pp.) and a volume of reproductions of Cezanné's sketches (160pp., in landscape orientation). B…oth volumes in very good condition, bound in flexible linen boards, 13cm x 21.3cm. In two-piece slipcase, cream-colored linen over cardboard; inner piece is worn with partial cracks to hinges, tape ghosts from a previous owner's attempt at holding it together; title is stamped on outside (spine) edge, letters remain bold. Folding case has tape traces and is cracked at edges of spine. Outer box is in good condition, with minor wear and toning around exterior. A handsome, sound set. Scarce in this original edition.
