This "development plan" was not a single report authored by H. L. Keenleyside, but rather a series of proposals that culminated in the construction of the Hugh L. Keenleyside Dam, which was named after diplomat Hugh L. Keenleyside also Chairman of B. C. Hydro. The dam was the central component of this large-scale project. The Dam flooded considerable land on the perimeter of the Lake submerged several small towns and communities, such as Burton, which had to be dismantled and relocated. The flooding displaced residents and irrevocably altered the region's geography, culture & environment. 8.5" by 11", 32 pages ikncluding several very interestring & colorful maps.
