Autographed typed letter with MS notes 7" x 10", Single Sheet, VG.Provenance: Herb Yellin (1935-2014) was the highly respected publisher and founder of Lord John Press, considered by many to be one of the most important small presses of the 20th century. His close personal relationships with many significant writers resulted in an impressive number of unique, collectible, signed limited edition books. Working with some of modern literature's biggest names?Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, John Updike, Eudora Welty, and Joyce Carol Oates among them?and entertaining his personal fascination with Hollywood, Yellin was able to create a new realm for Lord John Press combining the two fields; several books, including The Lord John Film Festival, were the result.

Añadir al carritoSoft portfolio. Condición: Very Good. First Edition. No. 67 of 80, with each print signed in pencil by Corso. Folio, 46 by 31.5 cm. Quite uncommon, given limitation, with only five institutional holdings appearing on OCLC First Search. Light wear to portfolio, with light ink line through word "Six" and "Five" written above, although all six plates are present here. One plate, "Herman Saturn", is trimmed neatly on top but has remnants of matting, it would appear, around margin, not affecting illustration. Other plates without defect.
