Añadir al carritopaperback. Condición: Very Good. Peter Findlay Gallery, NY, 1999. Softcover, 39 pp; 25 cm. Very good+ in pictorial wrappers with French flaps. Minor shelfwear, interior clean and unmarked. Exhibition catalog published by the Peter Findlay Gallery to accompany the 1999 show of sculptural works by German artist duo Kubach-Wilmsen. Anna and Wolfgang Kubach are known for their large-scale stone sculptures that explore the intrinsic forms and symbolic power of natural materials. Their collaboration began after university and focused on creating "books" from stone, inspired by their reverence for geological history and symbolic ritual. This catalog includes a biographical overview, documentation of public commissions in Europe, the United States, and Japan, a short essay by George. W. Staempfli, a listing of single exhibitions, and numerous full-color images of their books of stone, towers of stone and forms of stone and sculptural series such as Ikarus and Stonebook.
