Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Fine. Near Fine. First edition, preceding the British edition by two years. About fine in attractive, near fine dustwrapper with tiny tears. O'Brien's pseudonymously published first book, a study of Roman Catholic writers including Evelyn Waugh, Graham Greene, Francoise Muriac, Georges Bernanos, Leon Bloy,…Sean O'Faolin, and Peguy. Inscribed: "For Mark/ and college -/ new Men/ new times/ new places/ to/ share/ your / reality/ The Berrigans / Aug. 1969." An interesting association, presumably a gift from the peace activist brothers Daniel and Philip Berrigan who were also Catholic priests. The signature seems to be in the hand of Danial Berrigan, but we are not completely certain. An uncommon title.
