Card Covers. Condición: Very Good. small 12 page printed card booklet including advertisements and fixture lists for both Plymouth Argyle and Argyle Reserves for the 1932/33 season. In very good condition, though the central staple is a little rusty and the central pages are now loose, covers a little marked, none of the results have been filled in. A rare item. Also loosely inserted is a fixture list for the 1937/38 list which includes fixtures for Plymouth Albion, Plymouth Argyle, Plymouth Argyle 2nd XI. and Devonport Services, though this second item is without its covers. Card Covers. Condición: Very Good. First Edition. No date but circa 1945. A fine collection of 10 chromolithographed postcards in card wrappers, the upper wrapper also printed in colour. The cards are joined and fold out in concertina fashion; They have comic and saucy captions in French and English. The card wrappers are a little worn and rubbed, but the cards themselves are all in very good clean condition and not inscribed. A very good set. Size: 16mo. Book.

Attractive green Morocco leather binding, decorative border to both the front and rear panel, gilt lettering to the spine, slight fading to the spine leather, large turn ins with three ruled lines in gilt. Contents clean and tight, green endpapers, some loss effecting text to page 5, all edges gilt, unmarked. An attractive, Arts and Craft binding. Size: 48mo. Book.

Very scarce original, large (51.5 x 75 cm) wall poster and calender entitled "TRANSVAAL WAR 1899" depicting nine photographs of "THE BRITISH LEADERS". Printed in green sepia and black, calendar for 1901at bottom. Publisher is not apparent but includes a large advert for "J. STRANG, Family Grocer, Draper, Ironmonger, &c." of Hatherleigh. Devon. Complete with original black wall hangings. Generally in very good condition with light general wear, a couple of small, old paper repairs to the reverse. A very rare and attractive item.
