This book offers a unique interpretation of the 11th chapter of Revelation and several other biblical passages through the lens of the author's own spiritual understanding. Drawing on a combination of biblical exegesis and personal revelation, the author challenges traditional interpretations and presents a fresh perspective on the nature of God, the role of faith and reason, the meaning of salvation, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. The author's insights delve into the duality of good and evil, represented by the 'Two Witnesses' of Revelation, and explore the ongoing battle between the forces of faith and reason that has shaped human history. Through a careful examination of the symbolism and metaphors within the biblical text, the author reveals hidden meanings and allegorical truths that shed new light on core Christian beliefs. This book is not merely an academic treatise but a deeply personal and spiritual exploration that encourages readers to question their own understanding of God and their place in the universe. By inviting readers to engage with the text and contemplate its deeper meanings, the book aims to foster a more profound and transformative relationship with the divine. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book, written by the authors John Reeve and Lodowicke Muggleton, is a collection of their writings on various religious topics. The writings were produced over a period of several decades in the 17th century and represent the authors' unique interpretations of Christianity. The book includes a wide range of topics, including the nature of God, the relationship between God and humanity, the role of faith, and the meaning of salvation. The authors were both self-proclaimed prophets who believed that they had been chosen by God to deliver his message to the world. They rejected the teachings of the established church and developed their own distinctive beliefs, which they claimed were based on direct revelation from God. The authors believed that there are two fundamental principles in the universe: light and darkness. Light represents God and all that is good, while darkness represents Satan and all that is evil. They believed that all human beings are born with a mixture of light and darkness within them, and that the goal of life is to overcome the darkness and embrace the light. The authors' writings are full of vivid imagery and symbolism, and they often use allegorical language to convey their message. They also make extensive use of scripture, which they interpret in a highly literal and often idiosyncratic manner. This book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Christianity or in the development of new religious movements. It provides a fascinating glimpse into the minds of two men who believed that they had been chosen by God to deliver his message to the world. Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is a thought-provoking exploration of the nature of God, sin, and the afterlife, as revealed through the writings of a 17th-century prophet. The author argues that the true God is not a disembodied spirit, but a divine being with a physical form, who became incarnate in Jesus Christ. They examine the origins of sin, arguing it stems from the serpent's temptation of Eve, and trace its consequences through the fall of man and the subsequent division of humanity into the seed of faith and the seed of the serpent. The book delves into the nature of the soul, the afterlife, and the judgment of God, offering a unique perspective on humanity's relationship with the divine and the ultimate fate of souls. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. Añadir al carritoHardcover. Early reprint. Reportedly first published in 1662. The title page here appears to be the same as that of the 1753 ed. But the tipped in frontis portrait in a square frame, while a close likeness of the oval frontis of 1753, states, "Published by Caulfield & Herbert, 1794". Leather backed paper boards. 19th century advertisement tipped on to verso of front free endpaper, detaching at the sewing. Excerpts from newspapers and booksellers catalogues concerning Muggleton, who died in 1698, this book and others by him, are pasted to the front endpapers. Muggleton was a virulent opponent of the Quakers and founded a religious sect of few members which survived for some three hundred years. Spine cracked and scuffed; corners worn. Internal yellowing. A statement in ink beneath Muggleton's name on the title page notes that he was a "Native of Chippenham, Wilts". Some marginal lining in pencil to early and late pages and some scrawling in period ink to the verso of the title page. There is a comment on the location of the portrait in ink at its head. Ow good.
