(presumed ownership initials) gilt on spine. Thumbed, page corners creased from readers, well used and passed from one owner to another. Boards. First published in 1773, this cookbook has gone through several revisions. In the advertisement for this edition, MacIver notes that friends suggested adding her ideas for menus suitable for various size groups.
