Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Paper cover has mild edge-wear with light rubbing and creasing. Some light marking and tanning.

Dent with a short split to the front on the bird's leg (making it less obvious than it might be), running decreasingly through much of the book though not ruinously; otherwise Very Good, slightly rubbed and marked outwardly, the staples a little rusty.

Although not called for, this is one of 100 numbered copies signed by the author, which limitation perhaps encompassed the copies in hardback. A little light spotting to the edges, the boards with a couple of minor blemishes, but a crisp example in the dust jacket, itself slightly spotted on the reverse but outwardly bright, with a couple of tiny marks in production.
