First Printing with a complete numberline. 8vo. 288pp. It seems highly unlikely that Henry Miller really was the author of these extremely salacious stories, despite the claim to the contrary in Milton Luboviski's affidavit that is printed on pp. 287,8. The best background account of the history of "Opus Pistorum"…we are aware of is to be found in Shifreen & Jackson, "Henry Miller: A Bibliography of Primary Sources" (1993, pp. 931-938).
