Añadir al carritoTrade paperback. Condición: Very good. Lea Storch (Cover art) Ilustrador. [6], 365, [5] pages. David T. Dellinger (August 22, 1915 - May 25, 2004) was an influential American radical pacifist and an activist for nonviolent social change. He achieved peak notoriety as one of the Chicago Seven, who were put on trial in 1968. For his lifelong commitment to pacifist values and for serving as a spokesperson for the peace movement, Dellinger was awarded the Peace Abbey Courage of Conscience on September 26, 1992. Michael Albert (born April 8, 1947) is an American activist, economist, speaker, and writer. Since the late 1970s he has been involved with publishing left wing literature. He is known for helping to develop the socioeconomic theory of participatory economics. Albert founded South End Press in 1977 along with Lydia Sargent, Juliet Schor, among others. Nine political activists and journalists examine the connections between militarism, the economy and foreign policy, and the common roots of militarism, racism, sexism, and class oppression. Avram Noam Chomsky (born December 7, 1928) is an American linguist, philosopher, cognitive scientist, historian, and social critic. Sometimes described as "the father of modern linguistics", Chomsky is also a major figure in analytic philosophy and one of the founders of the field of cognitive science. He holds a joint appointment as Institute Professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and laureate professor at the University of Arizona, and is the author of over 100 books on topics such as linguistics, war, politics, and mass media. Ideologically, he aligns with anarcho-syndicalism and libertarian socialism. Chomsky has influenced a broad array of academic fields. He is widely recognized as a paradigm shifter who helped spark a major revolution in the human sciences. First Edition [Stated], First Printing [Stated].
