PROVENANCE BACKGROUND: Sir Richard Oswald Chandler Norman (1932-1993) was a distinguished British chemist who played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academic research and national policy. He is perhaps most noted in government circles for his tenure as the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Department of Energy, a position he held from 1988 until his death in 1993. During this period, he provided essential technical guidance on the UKs energy strategy and environmental impact during a transformative era for the sector. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Ministry of Defence from 1983 to 1988, demonstrating a rare breadth of expertise that spanned both military technology and civilian resource management. BOOK RESUME: McCrimmons treatise proposes a revolutionary space-time-mass continuum, arguing that a fifth dimension is required to explain the mechanics of Rotating Spheres (Orbium Rotantium) that traditional four-dimensional models fail to capture. The text delves into the controversial existence of Anti-mass and suggests that hyperspace systems govern the long-range forces of the universe. It is a work of Grand Unification that refuses to separate the physical from the divine, positing that the laws of physics are the outward expressions of a theological framework. The book is presented in a scholarly hardcover format, housed in a slipcase, emphasizing its role as a serious challenge to the scientific status quo. AUTHOR: Ian McCrimmon was a theoretical protagonist who operated on the periphery of mainstream academia, yet possessed the intellectual ambition to engage with the grandest scales of cosmology. By titling his work in homage to Copernicus, McCrimmon signalled his intent to spark a paradigm shift in how mass and space are perceived. His writing is characterized by a rare synthesis of rigorous geometric logic and theological inquiry, suggesting that the 'Fifth Dimension' was not merely a mathematical necessity but a bridge between the physical world and a higher metaphysical order.
