The Knott company organized under this name in 1895, targeted universities, high schools, laboratories, manufacturers and inventors across the World. Along with surveying, navigation, and mathematical instruments, they also sold water turbines, Bell glasses, demonstration jars, orreries, lantern slides, solar calculators, 3-dimensional geography models, and electrical equipment.
