The spine strip's cloth and letters have darkened; its top edge is a little frayed, and the bottom edge is less so. Three board corners are threadbare, up to 1/8 in. The text block ends have darkened. The non-print sides of the half-title page and the frontispiece have foxing. The frontispiece and the title page each have foxing in one corner. Cover extremities moderately rubbed, with corners rubbed through to boards. Few minor spots to rear cover cloth. Occasional light smudges to interior margins, but mostly clean and tight.
