O. H. Rippingale Ilustrador. When Marsh and Rippingale first published this book in 1964 the Conidae had not been extensively covered since 1884 and so it was a seminal work. This is a nice copy printed in 1968, unfortunately the dust jacket is missing but the book itself is in very good condition. The cover is only a little bumped at the front top corner, otherwise very good. Inside there is a mark on the front free endpaper where a sticker has been removed, and there is a little bit of tanning on the pages but it is very even, apart from which the pages are clean and unmarked throughout. The full page colour plates are really beautiful.
