Datelined March 9, 1907 in Sacramento, California. Printed by the Woodward & Tiernan Printing Company of St. Louis, Missouri. 8 1/4" x 6 1/4." This billhead appears to have a trimmed bottom edge but is sold as is. Billhead is very clean and intact except for a few small wrinkles, slight age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, and a paper stub tipped in on back right edge. A Very Good copy. An original billhead from California Winery to H. J. Luttig of Franklin, California. Luttig purchased two line items, "10 gals. Port, 'XX'" and "1 Keg," for $6.25. The Port wine was priced at $0.50 per gallon for a $5.00 total. The keg cost $1.25. The printed header reads, "California Winery, Growers, Distillers and Bottlers of Cordova the Wine of Quality; 21st Street, Between R and S Streets. 'The Oldest Winery in the State'; Established 1852." The proprietors are listed as "Cordova Vineyards, situated on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains." The company Directors are listed as Fred K. Cox (company President and President of the California State Bank), Fred W. Kiesel (company Vice President and General Manager and Cashier of the California State Bank), Geo. W. Peltier (company Secretary and Manager of the California State Bank), W. E. Gerber (Vice President of the California State Bank), Jos. Steffens (Director of the California State Bank), C. W. Clarke (Director of the California State Bank), F. J. Kiesel ("Capitalist, Ogden, Utah"), and W. A. Clark (U.S. Senator, Butte, Montana).

Also includes a signature in pencil from the San Francisco Call's Circulation Manager, "K. [T.?] Boardman." Datelined October 17, 1907 in San Francisco, California. 8 1/2" x 5 1/2." Billhead is very clean and intact overall except for light age toning, a few vertical and diagonal fold lines, slight wrinkling, and a paper stub tipped in at right edge on back. A Very Good copy. An original typed business memo from K. [T.?] Boardman of the San Francisco Call H. J. Luttig [name mistyped as "Lutting"]. The letter is brief and reads, "Dear Sir:-- This is to acknowledge receipt of your remittance for the subscription of the Call for three months for C. Windell, above address, for which we thank you. Yours truly, K. T. Boardman, Circulation Manager." The printed header reads, "San Francisco Call; John D. Spreckels, Proprietor; Chas. W. Hornick, General Manager; San Francisco, Cal." The San Francisco Call was a newspaper published between 1856 and 1965. The newspaper had several name changes and was part of a few mergers over the years. Its last iteration, the News-Call Bulletin, ceased publication in 1965 when it was bought out by the San Francisco Examiner. American industrialist John D. Spreckels (1853-1926) was one of the San Francisco Call's owners.

Each billhead, the Statement, and the entire collection are Very Good. A collection of two original billheads and one original Statement from The Creamerie of Sacramento, California to H. J. Luttig of Franklin, California. H. J. Luttig ran a general store of the same name in Franklin. Each billhead shows Luttig bought one line item, both of which are described as "Flats." The Statement has one transaction described as "To Mdse., Bill Rendered." The printed header on each billhead reads, "Bought of The Creamerie; C. F. Schwilk, Manager; Manufacturers of and Dealers in Ice Cream, Butter, Cream, Milk and Buttermilk; Sole Agents for Ashland Full Cream Cheese; No. 720 J Street." The printed header on the Statement reads, "To The Creamerie, Dr.; C. F. Schwilk, Manager; 720 J Street.".
