This design was introduced for the more affordable "popular" editions that followed the original 1907 deluxe release.Lewis Carroll Condition is solid for its age. The pages are clean with no foxing, and the edges are plain rather than gilt. There is some fading to the spine and light wear along the cover edges, consistent with normal handling over time. These editions are more common than the earlier gilt-stamped versions, making them a good entry point for collectors while still retaining the charm of the original artwork.
