Añadir al carritoFirst Edition, in the scarce hardcover issue. Octavo (7 1/8 x 5 in.). 204, (1), (1, blank) pp. Publisher's green cloth, white lettered spine, dust jacket. Only the softcover edition is recorded in Kearney (who believes the issue under notice is genuine) and Private Case. Prosecuted on March 29, 1963 for violating a French law concerning how erotic literature could be sold, displayed, and advertised. John Millington-Ward, who also wrote for Olympia Press under the pseudonyms, "Greta X" and "Angela Pearson," is best known for books on English grammar published under his real name. A bit of sunning along upper and lower edge, otherwise a Very Good copy indeed in good dj with 1/2 inch chip along upper edge of rear panel and slight loss at spine extremes. Cf. Kearney, Paris Olympia Press 11.2.1.; Private Case 1005.
