Dodo Lees's life is shimmering with many aspects, one of which is her activity during the Second World War assisting the Fench resistance in the Vosges and nursing victims at the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp. She was a staunch Labour supporter and even stood against her beloved huspand Chipps, who was Conservative candidate in Dorset.
