Original covers, black cloth spine, 18 1/2 x 21 3/4 inches, nonpaginated (approximately 20 pp) , illustrated with black and white in-text maps + three full page color maps (topography, areal geology, and structure and economic geology) and a black and white columnar section, all on glossy paper. Paperback, very good. Covers age tanned, 1/2 x 1 inch chip off side edge of rear cover, 1 inch chip off upper corner of front cover, 1/2 inch chip off lower corner, three approximately 2 inch tears and several lesser tears and chips along edges of covers, with some stray smudging. Internally, text paper age tanned, an approximately 1/2 inch deep x 8 inch long light tan stain on top edge of last few leaves, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read, with colors still sharp. Of particular interest are the locations of oil (petroleum) and natural gas wells, coal mines, quarries, and dry holes. Geography; history; reference; energy; fossil fuels; topographic maps; Washington County, Pennsylvania. ****************************************************.
