Translated by M. Ya. Kantor. Karl Federn was an Austrian lawyer and translator. He emigrated to Denmark in 1933 and 1938 moved to London where he died in 1943. The Nazis placed his book Hauptmann Latour (a semi-fictional work on the horrors of war) on their list of harmful and undesirable literature in Germany. Not in OCLC.
