In its original, worn and torn, dust jacket, with loss along top and bottom edges and at spine ends, but majority of illustration still there. The front illustration of three girls jumping a track hurdle is set against a red background with white titling. There are 17 items by various authors, illustrated also by various, in b&w line drawing with 1 colour frontispiece from the painting by W. Bryce Hamilton. This illustrates the first story "For Britain by Haines Jull, it's about a 15 year old girl left in charge of a lighthouse before the weather turns bad.
