Although called 'small paper', this is actually still a very substantial volume of significant size. Printed by Maclure, Macdonald & Co., Glasgow, 1899. A good yellow cloth hardback with red printed covers. Covers with some wear, soiling and bumping. Endpapers cracked at inner hinges leading to some weakening in the binding. Some offsetting to free endpapers. Text is clean and bright throughout with the plates presenting handsomely. Text in English. Prelims + xi + 118 Descriptions and Plates + (3) index + (1) Subscriber's list + (1) Author's Published Books + (1) Vignette 'Finis'. Dimensions: approx 360mm high x 265mm wide x 58mm deep.
