Laid in with the script are several handwritten pages regarding promotional materials for the play. Also became the basis for the 2002 film directed by and starring Steve Guttenberg. After coming home to find a muscular Ital…ian burglar in the process of robbing his apartment, a depressed young actor ties the burglar to his kitchen sink and attempts to torment the man, but finds himself forming an intensifying bond with his robber instead. Written by Kirkwood and published as a novel in 1972, then eventually produced for the stage in 1975 (the script on offer here), and for film in 2002. Set in New York. Red titled Studio Duplicating Service wrappers with credits for playwright James Kirkwood. Title page present, with credits for playwright James Kirkwood. 111 leaves, with last page of text numbered 2-52. Spirit duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound with a gold brad.
