First edition, thus, of this scarce revised brochure detailing the activities and experiences on the Bingham Springs Bar M-Ranch dude ranch located in the Blue Mountains and originally established on the stage road linking Walla Walla to Summerville, OR, and by 1892 had become a hot springs sanatarium under Dr. John Bingham. Howard & Bonnie Baker eventually bought the resort in 1938 towards the end of the Great Depression featuring a facility with no running water, and in need of serious upgrades. Electricity arrived in 1947, and they plumbed guest cabins, improved the pool, and the livestock. The facility was sold in 2011 to Cavalry Chapel of Tri-Cities, WA, and still operates.
