Ellis and inscribed "To Mr. Charles Deane with warm regards of George E. Ellis." 48pp. Bound in is a letter from Charles Deane concerning the printing of the lectures in one volume. And that the lecture of Samuel Eliot was not printed separately as this one was. It also states that "most of the copies here bound together were presented to me by the authors. The letter is signed by Charles Deane. Also included are the original advertisements for the lectures cut from a newspaper listing the lecturers and topics. I believe this to be the first section of Charles Deane's bound copy. Someone has dibound the original. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed & Inscribed By Author.
