Front and rear inner hinges are split and the book is shaken, all prints and pages remain intact. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There is a handwritten number and Mercantile Library stamp on the title page and some of the internal pages. There are no other indications of the library's ownership. Condition is VG+: extremely clean, sewn binding strong & secure, hinges intact, pages creamy white with age-appropriate tanning, a bit heavier around edges, but completely unmarked. Modest rubbing to extremities, slight pushing to lower spine, mild bumping to all corners. No DJ, as issued.
