The sole edition of a compilation of humorous and intriguing dubiously-legitimate anecdotes composed and published by Harry Hobbs (1864-1956), resident of British-Kolkata, pianist, and manager of Harry Hobbs and Co., 'Pianoforte Importers, Repairers and Tuners'. In the short prefatory 'explanation' Hobbs professes that his primary aim in spinning such 'yarns' is simply to make readers laugh: 'if a few men chuckle over what they find in these pages I shall be satisfied'. Very scarce; COPAC records a single copy (National Army Museum), OCLC adds no further. Size: 8vo.
